Heya folks, Shaun here, and I’m back with my latest review! In this one, I’m covering an indie simulation game called Blooming Business: Casino by Homo Ludens and Curve Games.
Blooming Business: Casino is a tycoon style simulation game that puts you in the shoes of a newly appointed casino boss who now owes to the local mafia boss and must work off your debts.
The game is pretty typical of tycoon games where you construct rooms, hire employees, and manage the casino itself. The demo features 4 playable levels in the game and each one had their own set of objectives for you to complete.
The world is inhabited by anthropomorphic animals, and the gamblers are divided into various factions. Each faction has their own likes and dislikes and keeping them all happy by designing your casino based on these likes and dislikes will increase happiness and increase the funds you make.
What’s currently available in the demo shows a lot of promise for the full release. It hearkens back to the tycoon games that I used to play when I was younger and is a ton of fun to boot. I’m looking forward to seeing what the full game will be like, and if you love tycoon games, or simulation games in general, then you should definitely keep your eye on Blooming Business: Casino, it’s a ton of fun.
